Bishop Okonkwo Murdered

PreviousPage 2 of 3Next

This is a big lesson for everyone. Background checks are not enough. Sometimes the people closest to you are the ones monitoring your movement for the devil. May God protect us from the enemies within.

The police in Anambra really tried this time. Tracking them from Asaba to Onitsha and catching them while they were still ‘negotiating’ shows that intelligence-led policing is the only way forward in 2026.

The Bishop’s family should be given all the support they need. This kind of trauma is not easy to heal from. To lose a loved one to a trusted staff is a different kind of pain.

End-Reconciliation Ministry… the Bishop was trying to reconcile souls with God, and his driver was busy reconciling himself with the devil. The irony of life is just too much to bear.

Education is key, but character is everything. We are producing a generation that values ‘SUV’ more than ‘Human Life.’ We need a total moral reset in our homes and schools.

Ibuso to Onitsha is just across the bridge, and he thought he could sell a stolen car there? This criminal doesn’t watch movies at all. You are selling a Bishop’s car in the same region where he is popular? Double foolishness.

Phones, SUV, and valuables… all these things stay behind while the Bishop has gone. But the driver will now spend his youth in a VIP cell (the real one, not Blord’s vacation type) thinking about his sins.

A pestle is such a personal, violent way to kill someone. It means there was deep-seated envy in that driver’s heart. He wasn’t just stealing; he wanted to destroy the man who was better than him.

A pestle? Inside his own house? This is why I tell people to be very careful with domestic staff. You are feeding someone, paying their salary, and they are busy looking for where you keep your car keys and your life.

A driver killing his own boss for a car? This ‘get rich quick’ syndrome has turned our youths into monsters. You want to sell a Land Cruiser for N10m? Even the price alone shows you are a thief. May the Bishop’s soul rest in peace.
