NAFDAC Exposes Massive Fake Wine & Drinks Production Factory

SHOCKING FOOTAGE from a raid on an illegal factory producing counterfeit beverages in Nigeria.
This disturbing video shows rows of fake bottled drinks, stacked cartons of popular branded wines and spirits, mixing areas, and workers being questioned on site. From imitation premium wines to everyday drinks — these counterfeit operations are flooding the market with dangerous, adulterated products.
Many Nigerians are linking such activities to the rising cases of kidney failure and unexplained health issues among young people.
Public Health Warning:
– Avoid cheap or suspiciously affordable “branded” drinks
– Stick to plain water (properly treated/boiled/filtered)
– Fresh homemade juices (orange, zobo, tigernut) are safer
– Always check seals, labels, and NAFDAC numbers carefully

This is a nationwide problem driven by greed and weak enforcement. Your life is not a gamble.

Now I understand why kidney failure is becoming like a common cold among young Nigerians. We are literally poisoning ourselves in the name of ‘enjoyment.’ If the label says France but the liquid was mixed in a backyard in Aba or Lagos, your organs don’t stand a chance.

Check the seals, check the labels, check the batch numbers—honestly, the fakes are looking more original than the originals these days. The only real safety is to stop the obsession with expensive brands and drink what you can verify.

Avoid cheap branded drinks? Even the expensive ones aren’t safe! These criminals target the most expensive brands because that’s where the biggest profit is. If you aren’t buying directly from the manufacturer’s accredited distributor, you are gambling.

This is the result of a system where ‘hustle’ is glorified regardless of how you make the money. We have turned a blind eye to people getting rich overnight, and now they are selling us death in a bottle to maintain their lifestyle.

The greed in this country is reaching a level that is purely demonic. How can you look at a fellow human being and sell them poison just to make a profit? These counterfeiters are worse than kidnappers because they kill you slowly while you pay them for it.

The government keeps talking about ‘ease of doing business,’ but they need to make it ‘hard to do illegal business.’ This factory looks like it has been operating for years. Where were the local government inspectors and the health officials all this time?

If NAFDAC can find this factory, it means they know where others are. We need a continuous crackdown, not just one-off videos for social media. These products are in our local markets, our supermarkets, and even some big hotels.

Weak enforcement is the biggest killer in Nigeria. If NAFDAC is underfunded, let them use the proceeds from the seized assets of these criminals to fund more raids. We cannot afford to lose our productive population to avoidable organ failure.

Zobo, tigernut, and fresh orange juice are not just ‘safer’—they are better for us. Let this be the wake-up call for Nigeria to return to natural, homemade beverages. Let the ‘warriors’ in the fake wine industry drink their own poison alone.
