I was Promised Automatic Ticket Before Joining APC -Ned Nwoko

Ned Nwoko, senator representing Delta north, has rejected the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Delta state, describing the process as lacking transparency and fairness.

In an interview with AriseTV, Nwoko expressed dissatisfaction with the conduct of the senatorial primary, particularly the declaration of Ifeanyi Okowa, former governor of Delta, as winner.

The senator noted that the video circulating online, which showed Okowa being declared winner, came from only one ward out of the 98 wards in the senatorial district.

He challenged the party to release full results and evidence from all other wards.

“I wouldn’t accept it. Because I have a mandate. I have a mandate by the people,” Nwoko said.

He insisted that he secured the majority of votes across the district and demanded comprehensive ward-by-ward results and videos to prove the authenticity of the declared outcome.

Nwoko said he defected to the APC based on specific assurances from party leaders, including Abdullahi Ganduje, former national chairman of the party.

According to him, the promises included automatic ticket, power-sharing arrangements, dissolution of the state executive committee, and integration of defectors into the party structure — promises he claimed were never fulfilled.

“I certainly was told before I came into the party that there would be an automatic ticket for me. Why would I leave just like that without ensuring that I have a secure something?,” he said.

Nwoko warned that he would reject any outcome upheld by the APC national leadership if it contradicts what he called the genuine mandate of party members at the grassroots.

Distinguished Senator, so you actually believed a politician’s promise? In Nigeria? An entire billionaire lawyer falling for ‘come we go give you ticket.’ I am laughing in Anioma.

They used automatic ticket to lure you into the house, and the moment you closed the door, they changed the lock. Classic APC format. You have been served breakfast, sir.

Going to APC to fight Ifeanyi Okowa for a structure in Delta State is like entering the ocean to fight a shark. Okowa has been building that political structure since 1999.

If it’s true that they only declared results based on 1 ward out of 98, then Ned has a solid case for the electoral appeal committee. But he must prove it with hard duplicate results sheet.

Ned Nwoko should just pack his bags and move to a smaller party like the Labour Party. Delta North people love his personality, they will vote for him anywhere if he gets a ticket.

N800,000 for a medium ram? In 2026? My father bought a massive, aggressive Balami ram for N85,000 just a few years ago. The speed at which our purchasing power vanished needs to be studied in Harvard.
