In Nigeria, many people don’t have dedicated fiber Wi-Fi. You can still connect wirelessly by using a Mobile Hotspot.

Turn on the Personal Hotspot on a second phone (or the phone you want to use, though it’s easier with a separate one).

Connect both your TV and your primary phone to this hotspot.

Now, the Cast icon will appear in apps like YouTube or Netflix. Tap it, and the video will play on the TV while you keep using your phone for other things.

3. The Wired Method (HDMI Adapter)

If your TV isn’t “Smart” or your Wi-Fi is unstable, a cable is the most reliable option. It also has zero lag, which is better for gaming.

What you need:

For Android (Type-C): A USB-C to HDMI Adapter.

For iPhone: A Lightning to Digital AV Adapter (for older iPhones) or a USB-C to HDMI (for iPhone 15 and 16).

How to do it:

Plug the adapter into your phone.
